Chicken Breeds Informtion:
Black Rock/Rhode Rock Chickens
Black Hen with a lovely chestnut plumage in neck and breast. These are purpose bred free-range hens showing excellent egg-laying qualities.

· Bodyweight at 72 weeks 2250g.
· Peak of production more than more than 90%.

· Black feathers.
Speckeldy Chickens
Black and grey speckled hen, a hybrid from the Maran. These birds should lay more eggs than the traditional Maran, although only about half of them will produce eggs of a darker brown colour.

Blacktail Chickens
Medium sized brown hen with a black tail. Good free-range bird with a friendly nature. Similar in appearance to the “Columbian Blacktail”.

Red Star Chickens
This an excellent egg-laying hen with a very quiet and placid nature, ideal for first-time Chicken keepers.
Lays in the region of 300 eggs per year.

Utility Light Sussex Chickens
A large white hen with black feathering in the neck and tail, almost looking identical to the traditional Light Sussex, showing good egg laying ability and laying brown eggs.

Bluebell Chickens
Large, quiet, slate grey hen with a darker head. Bred from the Rhode Island Red. Lays a good number of large brown eggs.

White Star Chickens
A Pure white hen, comparatively smaller than the other hens we stock. Very similar to the White Leghorn. A lively bird, laying a large number of mostly large white eggs. Early to mature and a fantastic layer.

Commercial Brown “Warren Type” Chickens
These birds are well known to be loved by poultry farmers for their egg-laying capacity.
You can totally rely on them to produce up to 300-350 brown eggs in a year.
In addition to this quality, they are also friendly and get along well with humans!
This classic brown chicken has a brown/reddish colour and it’s made up of lighter feathers underneath.
They are hardy, very loving, and quiet, and you will find their calm nature very attractive.
Easter Egger Chickens
Easter Egger chickens are mixed-breed with delightful, amusing personalities that many people add to their flock due to the fact that they lay eggs in a wide variety of colours, including blue, pink, green, mid and dark brown, sage, and yellow.
Cheshire Black Chickens
These are a quiet and docile dark brown egg-laying hybrid hen, laying in the region of 280 eggs per year.
